One of the hardest experiences in faith is waiting.
We pray.
We ask.
We hope.
And sometimes nothing seems to change.
We begin wondering, “God, are You listening?”
Psalm 13 begins with David asking how long God will seem distant. David does not hide his emotions. He brings his questions directly to God.
That teaches us something important: faith does not require us to pretend.
You can be honest with God.
You can tell Him that you are tired.
You can tell Him that you are confused.
You can tell Him that you don't understand.
Prayer is not about pretending. Prayer is about relationship.
Sometimes God's silence feels like absence, but silence is not always absence.
